I purchased this item from Amazon and receive it in the same week. Loose a few screws, took out one of the old 516 MB RAM, and snap this one in its place. The installation was so easy, it actually took me more time to get the RAM out of the package then is to install it. I don't know why, but since I updated to Windows 7, my computer is using >80% of ram all the time. Even with just Firefox open, and no, I am not streaming video. After I install this RAM, my computer is using less than 50% of its RAM with normal usage. I am very happy with this PNY RAM.

This is not quite as you would expect...
I bought two of these items. One worked perfectly and I was very satisfied with that one. The second one was apparently defective. "Stuff happens." I was "blown away" with your return process. I wish everybody else would model their policies to be like yours. As soon as I said I had a problem, your questionnaire got to the root of the problem, found a solution and started the replacement process! I was kept informed throughout the entire experience. I could not have been more pleased with Amazon's return program. This will guarantee that I will continue to shop with Amazon in the future. I was in tech support for ten years and I learned it's okay to make a mistake or send out a defective product as long as you provide great support after the sale! Great job, amazing Amazon.
